2020 EDPA Northeast “The Classic” Virtual Golf & Mini Golf Tournament
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, the annual EDPA Northeast “The Classic” golf tournament has been transitioned to a virtual event.
What that means:
The 2020 Virtual “The Classic” will include two different tournaments in one. This will allow everyone to participate from the serious golfer to the completely not serious as all! We will simultaneously hold a traditional “Best Ball” tournament as well as a traditional mini-golf stroke play tournament.
Rather than getting together at Shaker Hills Country club, registrants for the “Best Ball” tournament will golf at the course of their choice during the tournament schedule either alone OR with their team of 2-4 players.
At the same time, registrants for the mini-golf stroke play tournament will play as singles at any mini-golf course of their choice.
Post-Event Zoom Call to be scheduled the week of 10/19 for awards and information.
Who is Invited:
Anyone who is part of the exhibit industry and their guests.
How Tournament will work:
“Best Ball”
Participant will register for event between August 28th through September 30th. Participants can golf alone or with a team of 2, 3 or 4 players. Participants then golf at the course of their choice between October 1st through October 16th. Greens fees are the responsibility of each golfer. We will use a “Best Ball” scoring system. Everyone keeps their own actual score on each hole. If you are playing as part of team of 2,3 or 4 players, you will use the best individual score from your team on each hole as your team score. Every participant will be eligible for the “Individual” low score and “Team” low score if part of a team of at least 2 people. A photo of completed scorecards will need to be sent to info@edpanortheast.com by 5pm on October 16th to qualify for any prizes.
“Mini-Golf”
Participants will register for event between August 28th through September 30. Participants then will golf at a mini-golf course of their choice between October 1st and October 16th . Mini-Golf greens fees are the responsibility of each golfer. Each payer keeps their own score on each hole. This tournament will be judged on single scores only. No team scores. A photo of the completed scorecard will need to be sent to info@edpanortheast.com by 5pm on October 16th to qualify for any prizes.
Updates and leaderboard will be posted on EDPA Northeast Facebook page
We urge all participants to submit photos of their day on the course, or mini-course. This will allow us to provide a more inclusive event for our community.
