The 2018 “Rally at the Alley” industry Fundraiser for Kim Hally, wife of Blue-Hive’s, Jack Hally, returns to Splitsville at Foxborough’s Patriot Place on May 10th.
The 2018 edition of the highly successful “Rally at the Alley” is returning to Splitsville at Patriot Place on Thursday, May 10th. This event is held annually to benefit a person in need who has ties to the exhibit industry. Kim Hally, wife of BlueHive’s Jack Hally, will be the 2018 beneficiary.
The EDPA Northeast Chapter will once again rally together to support one of our own while enjoying a night filled with fun, laughter, bowling and comradery. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Kim as she fights to survive each day as comfortably as possible.
On April 22 2013, while attending her son Tim’s lacrosse game, Kim Hally suffered a devastating brain stem stroke. Life for the Hally family has been forever changed since that horrible day.
Kim has faced a long uphill battle, but has continued to press on in her journey to recovery. She started with no movement from her neck down, progressing to now being able to stand with some assistance. The tracheotomy, due to the collapsed windpipe, has prevented her from speaking and she has been taking all nourishment through a feeding tube.
Kim has never accepted “no” and has fought over the years continuing to defy all expectations. She went from being paralyzed from the neck down to being able to stand with assistance for longer periods of time. Today Kim continues to make strides from being able to faintly talk to eating some solid foods. Unfortunately, she still requires 24/7 care of aids and nurses to which are not all covered by insurance or the state brain injury program she is enrolled. All the medical expenses from medications to procedures have left Jack and his family drained from our broken healthcare system.

The Rally at the Alley was resurrected by the EDPA Northeast Chapter in 2016 after a long hiatus. Last year’s 2017 event raised $15,000 for Tucker, husband of Hill & Partner’s Lauren Wood. Our 2016 event was a smashing success as $5,000 was raised for the family of the late Rob Carrona.
