EDPA Northeast Chapter Project New Hope and The Pajama Program
Exhibit Industry NE Chapter aids local families during the holidays Weymouth, MA (December 29, 2015) – The Exhibit Designers and Producers Association Northeast Chapter has banded together to donate gifts, books and clothing for local families during the 2015 holiday season. The chapter raised over $1200 to supply gifts to Project New Hope Adopt a Family and the Pajama Program.
“It was an honor for our chapter to be able to raise money and donate gifts to local families in need,” said Chapter President Matthew Johnson. “We are very passionate about supporting our community, especially around the holidays.”
The EDPA Northeast chapter was able to provide 50 new pairs of pajamas and 50 books to the Pajama Program, a national nonprofit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need, many of which are waiting to be adopted. This donation also aided in the program’s ‘One Million Good Nights’ campaign goal to deliver one million new pajamas and one million new books to children in need by December 31, 2015.
In addition, the chapter was able to donate gifts toTwo families with a total of seven children were assisted through Project New Hope. Each child received every item on their list! Project New Hope Adopt a Family Massachusetts was established in 2011 to create mutual support and camaraderie among service-members, veterans and their families.
Project New Hope Inc. proudly partner’s with a network of Massachusetts civilian organizations, Veterans organizations, non-profits, and private corporations who kindly donate their professional services to assist in providing local service-members, Veterans, Gold Star & Survivor’s and their families with assistance.
