On a rainy Monday morning, over 80 industry professionals joined together to participate in the first annual EDPA Northeast Chapter charity golf tournament coined “The Classic.” Despite the weather, the tournament was an overwhelming success due to the generosity of all our volunteers, participants and sponsors.
Rally at the Alley Raised $5,000 for the Family of Rob Corrona
“Rally at the Alley” held at Spiltsville, Patriot Place, it proved to be a great success! The event drew close to one hundred industry and community members who attended to honor and celebrate the life of Robert Charles Carrona, who recently passed from Pancreatic Cancer. The event raised $5,000 for Rob’s family, which will be donated to Sally, his wife of 32 years and their two children, Matt and Phoebe.

The EDPA Northeast Chapter is bringing the Rally at the Alley back to Boston. On May 5th at Splitsville, located at Patriot Place next to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, members of the exhibit industry will gather to celebrate the life of Rob Carrona, who was an admired freelance exhibit designer. The New EDPA Northeast Chapter President Speaks Out
The Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA) is comprised of more than 370 companies worldwide, involved in the design, build and execution of exhibits and exhibit related products and services. The EDPA currently includes nine regional U.S. chapters. The Northeast chapter stands as the newest group, revived in 2014 in part by H&P's Matt Johnson, who took on the immediate role of Chapter Treasurer.

The chapter raised over $1200 to supply gifts to Project New Hope Adopt a Family and the Pajama Program.

Being a Millennial in today's workforce can be frustrating. When you swim in a sea of news stories and think pieces about how awful your generation is, staying positive is difficult. It's easy to lose interest in trying to find middle ground with the people who think you're lazy, entitled, and scatterbrained. Recently, I found myself standing in front of a room full of those exact people. I was holding the presentation remote, and they were my enraptured audience, wide-eyed and eager, hanging on every word that fell out of my face.
